Hace apenas unos días se cumplieron tres meses desde que Universo Agatha vio la luz. Tres meses intensos, apasionantes y repletos de aprendizaje, en los que hemos publicado cerca de treinta artículos, abierto comunidad en redes sociales y lanzado los primeros vídeos breves (shorts) basados en las entradas del blog. Hoy, con muchísima ilusión, damos un paso más: estrenamos el primer micro-documental en el canal de YouTube.
Y no podíamos haber elegido mejor tema para inaugurar esta nueva etapa audiovisual que la desaparición de Agatha Christie en 1926. Un hecho tan real como misterioso que, casi cien años después, sigue atrayendo y despertando la imaginación de cualquier lector.

Un relato fascinante, ahora en vídeo
El vídeo recoge los momentos clave de aquellos once días en los que la escritora más famosa del Reino Unido desapareció sin dejar rastro. ¿Qué pasó realmente la noche del 3 de diciembre de 1926? ¿Por qué se marchó Agatha, dejando su coche abandonado junto a un estanque? ¿Sufría realmente amnesia o fue una forma de venganza simbólica? ¿Qué papel jugó su entorno, su marido, la prensa…?

Un nuevo espacio audiovisual para los amantes del misterio
El canal de YouTube nace con una doble vocación: por un lado, ser una puerta de entrada para nuevos lectores que aún no conocen el universo de Agatha Christie; por otro, convertirse en un complemento perfecto para quienes ya seguís el blog y queréis disfrutar del contenido en otros formatos.
Este primer vídeo está pensado como una cápsula narrativa, breve y potente, que puedes ver mientras te tomas un café o antes de dormir. Universo Agatha makes the leap to YouTube

Just a few days ago, Universo Agatha celebrated its three-month anniversary. Three intense, exciting and enriching months, during which we’ve published nearly thirty articles, built a growing community on social media, and launched our first short videos based on blog entries.
Today, with great excitement, we’re taking things a step further: we’re releasing our very first micro-documentary on the YouTube channel.
And we couldn’t have chosen a more fitting subject to inaugurate this new audiovisual stage than the mysterious disappearance of Agatha Christie in 1926 — an event as real as it is enigmatic, which continues to captivate the imagination of readers nearly a century later.

A gripping story, now in video
The video recounts the key moments of those eleven days when the UK’s most famous writer vanished without a trace. What really happened on the night of 3 December 1926? Why did Agatha leave, abandoning her car by a pond? Was it truly a case of amnesia, or a symbolic act of revenge? What role did her surroundings play — her husband, the press…?
In just over five minutes, the micro-documentary offers a clear, well-researched look at the facts — steering clear of sensationalism, yet without shying away from the aura of mystery that still surrounds the case. This is just the beginning of a series of videos that we at Universo Agatha plan to offer with a mix of rigour, passion, and storytelling flair to captivate viewers from the very first second.
A new space for mystery lovers
The YouTube channel is built with two aims in mind: on one hand, to serve as a gateway for new readers who have yet to discover the world of Agatha Christie; and on the other, to complement the blog for those of you who already follow us and would like to enjoy the content in other formats.
This first video is conceived as a short but impactful narrative capsule — something you can watch over a coffee or just before bed. Gradually, the channel will feature more content: curiosities, character profiles, book reviews, travel pieces… Always in the same close, well-documented and passionate tone that defines Universo Agatha.
